Before placing your first order, please call our office at 800-453-8830. We’ll take your credit card information and give you a username and password for the reseller portion of our website. There you can see wholesale prices and MSRP, and place orders for your customers.
We recommend you place your first few orders by phone. Our customer service team is happy to walk you through the ordering process, answering any questions you may have, to ensure that order information is accurate and complete.
To let your customers know you offer Ruff Tuff custom seat covers, keep our sign visible on your counter and put our window cling on or near your front door.
Have the product guide on hand for customer reference, and show the fabric swatches to help customers envision how our seat covers will look and feel in their vehicle.
Nothing sells Ruff Tuff seat covers like having them in a vehicle your customers can see — but a close second is having real, full-size seats with real seat covers. Be sure Ruff Tuff has names and email addresses for anyone in your shop who should keep up on new options, fabrics, etc. — or make sure whoever receives Ruff Tuff communications shares them with everyone involved.
Many resellers offer seat cover installation at an additional fee. If you’re interested in offering this service, feel free to call our office to discuss details. Installation videos are available on our YouTube channel.
When speaking with customers, be sure to tell them that since our high-end seat covers are custom-made, orders take a few weeks to arrive. Depending on the season and our backlog, turnaround varies from two to five weeks, approximately.
We’re happy to tell you at any time how long to expect, and to update you on the status of any order. If new patterns must be made, or if we have to wait for needed information or photos from the customer, delays are possible.
In October or November of each year, we announce in advance the last day to order seat covers for delivery before Christmas. Then our elves work overtime, if necessary, to ship Christmas orders on time.
